I am new to California.First of all I don't know anything about how things are in other states.But right now I am in the US.I know this happens to many Christians in California.I hail from an ancient Christian community from Asia much older than the advent of Christianity in Europe.First of all the thing that striked me the most is for non Christians like Hindus,Buddhists,Muslims there are lots of religious worship centers all over this place,but for we foreign Christians who are left with no option other than seek some spirituality in local churches are only to be rejected by the church members here who simply generalize me coming to their church as some one who comes to the church just to see their church architecture.There are innumerable number of churches in and around Bay area,but I cannot find any church of my denomination.If they recognize other religions as separate religions and give rights to them,why cant we practice our faith in our lord Jesus Christ in any of the US churches?To find a church of my denomination seems like a distant dream.As of now I am forced to completely accept some foreign religious customs which was are completely alien to us when we were back home so as to be part of a group with which we can have of any assistance.I don't know if this is a problem only with California or not.But from what I see is expecting US to be a christian country I cannot see any trace of Christianity anywhere in California.But I want to know if this is specific to California alone or other states.As of us we don't have any one to help us.We don't have much people from our part of the world.No one to assist us.Left among a group of people who are forcing me to accept their weird customs which we completely alien.Their mind is like we are expected to be work shipping some strange deities which we have absolutely no idea about.No one touched us for the last 2000years in my home while practising my belief in Jesus.I know many of my relatives in Dubai and in the middle east who can freely practice their faith in Jesus.But here we are left with no choice other than to accept this completely foreign way of life upon us.Religious isolation by local Christians,these people with weird customs are becoming a norm in our daily life.If someone from california near San fransisco Bay area can help me find a place of worship where they will accept me and not treat me like a foreigner please help me out.Its just that I love my lord too much and I cannot substitute him for anything else in the world no matter which city I am living in.For a matter of fact I even heard Christians like us can practice our religion even in Saudi,but not in California.
